APPLICATION
Sand and, if necessary, fill the floor, removing all wax, oil or existing finish. After final sanding or screening
(#100-120), vacuum and tack thoroughly, shake the can and wait for 15 min., then apply NORDIK by a roller with max. 5 mm hair,according to the following indications:
Apply the 1st coat of NORDIK. Without sanding, but according to the timing of the above schedule, apply a second coat of NORDIK. Abrade with grain #120-150 and apply a third coat of NORDIK
USE AND MAINTENANCE OF OILED WOOD FLOORS
16 hours after the impregnating treatment, the floor can be walked on cautiously. 4-7 days later, it can undergo the usual wearing and the regular maintenance can start. During this lapse of time, avoid laying rugs or dragging heavy pieces of furniture.
For cleaning and normal maintenance we recommend Carver DERGOS wood soap.
For extraordinary maintenance and restoration of deteriorated places, first clean the floor thoroughly with DETER PARQUET, screen with abrasives with grain #120-150 and finally apply 1 or 2 coats of NORDIK according to the above indication.
NOTICE
Apply the product at a room temperature between +15°C and +35°C with a relative humidity rate between 35% and 70%. Allow product to reach room temperature before application.
Verify that wood humidity is less then 10%
Shake well the product and wait for 15 min. before use.
During summertime, it is recommended not to apply the product in hottest hours of the day and never run the beating sun on the newly painted surface
Apply the product in thin coat according to the average yield (we suggest to use a roller with max. 5 mm hair)
Always adhere to the prescribed recoating and abrading schedule. After abrading, always vacuum and tack thoroughly.
Never use grain higher than #150
Clean tools with Carver IDROCLEANER or, for lack of this, with water, better if lukewarm.
The finished surface can be cautiously walked on after 16 hours. It achieves the optimal physical resistance after 4-7 days.
Dispose of excess product and empty containers properly.
If the original unopened containers are stored in a cool and dry place, the products will keep for at least 12 months
