Two component Stain COLORWOOD
|Availability||Reserved for professionals|
Mix COLORWOOD carefully with IDRO2 at 10: 1 before use.
Apply the mixture immediately after the addition of IDRO2, and use the catalyzed mixture within 2 hours. After this period, the mixture is no longer usable.
No dilution is necessary.
Apply a uniform coat using a short nap roller, or a brush for edges and small surfaces.
Try to apply along the wood fiber and avoid obvious overlaps. Do not wipe the roller where the product has already been applied.
It is advisable to test the shade beforehand on limited areas.
After applying COLORWOOD normalize the area quickly (within a maximum of five minutes) using a polishing machine with white pad. Use cotton rags to treat hard-to-reach corners and places.
In order to proceed quickly, especially on large surfaces, it is advisable to work with two people: the first applies the product as described, while the second wipes with the aid of the single-piece machine.
Do not apply by spraying.
Wait 6 hours and proceed directly with the application of NORDIK or a water-based CARVER finish.
If you need to apply COLORWOOD Lumina White or Gray on tannic woods to avoid extractions of tannins on the surface, preventive wood treatment with PRIMER COLORWOOD is required, wait 2 hours before applying COLORWOOD without sanding.
In any case, never sand COLORWOOD. Always sand the first one with applied finishing by hand, being careful not to drill.
Normally, a single layer of COLORWOOD is sufficient to achieve the desired color. But in case you want a darker color, you can apply a second coat of COLORWOOD 6-8 hours after the first.
Cycles and methods of application other than those described above must be checked beforehand.
The recommended abrasives refer to the use of a single brush. In the case of Trio use abrasive grains 80 ÷ 100.
